Central locking system, and the Hi-fi sound system w/ rear speakers.
Wheels upgraded to Porsche Cup-2 17" light alloy wheels.
course the S-2 or as some call it the Turbo Look 944, was already
standard with Driver and Passenger Air Bags, fully tinted glass,
power/heated rear view mirrors, power windows, height adjustable
seating, Digital clock, Bosh integrated fog/driving lamps, Body side
molding, rear seats with trunk-through feature, One button power top,
climate control, and a power trunk release.
These S2 cars
were quite limited in production, as only 1824 were sent to the USA and
Canada in 1990. They were built with 944Turbo coachwork, with the same
Brembo brake system, and Turbo suspension! The engine was a huge 3.0
liter twin overhead cam with 10.9:1 compression, and 16 hydraulic
valves, resulting in 208hp with a remarkable 207 ft lb of torque! To put
this in context, the 944 Turbo was only rated at 217hp, and the low end
of the turbo was a bit lacking compared to the S2. All in all, a very
fine performing Classic Porsche!
This one has not been
modified, other than the radio and later Porsche wheels. It has had very
diligent P/O's that serviced it pro-actively. Last Timing/Balance shaft
belt, rollers, tensioners, and water pump were completed in late 2018!
