1984 Porsche 911

Representing the return of the Carrera nameplate to the 911 lineup, the 1984 Carrera provided enthusiasts with a larger displacement flat-six engine that generated more horsepower and torque than it predecessor. A New Bosch Motronic fuel injection system, coupled with a revised ignition system and modifications to the bore and stroke generated nearly 30 HP more than the 1983 911 SC. Braking power was improved to match its increased performance. Changes included a larger brake booster, thicker rotors, larger rear calipers, and a rear braking pressure regulator that inhibited brake lock-up. Classic Coco Mats add a vintage look to the interior. This Carrera is powered by a 3.2L flat-six engine that originally produced 207 HP and 192 lb.-ft of torque from the factory. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Because of engine enhancements that included a performance chip and a modified exhaust, the seller estimates that the engine now generates 222 HP. Recent major service includes new Pirelli N-Code tires, Bosch spark plugs, cap, and rotor, valve adjustment, brake flush, full fluid flush, and oil, fuel and air filters.
