This is a numbers matching 911 coupe with original 2.2 engine # 6106092 & 901 transmission # 7102868. Built in #15 Irish Green, as per Certificate of Originality from Porsche...They began race prep to compete in SCCA SPU class. The majority of the work was completed by Road-N-Race in West Palm Beach in 2007. The driver competed in only three SCCA events thru 2008, and two more with POC.before medical issues became more of a priority in 2009. After a successful recovery he set his sites on the 2010 season, but alas...Passing the physical became too much of challenge. I purchased the car spring of 2011, and began improving the car for my use. The suspension work was extensive, using whatever parts Jerry Woods suggested. See list for details...Also lightened it up with fiberglass doors, fenders, hood, and glass. The engine was already built to 2.3, so we just needed to replace the old Zenith carbs with PMO's. Completed all work by Spring of 2012, including precision corner weighting, alignment, and chassis set up. I competed in several autocross's thru 2016, continuing to set it up for the 2016 Hill Climb season, when health issues became the new focus for me as well... We did manage an Autocross in 2017, before prepping it for storage. Specs. below: Engine: rebuilt in 2007, with Mahle 2.3 big bore P & C's, IWIS rod nuts & bolts, Turbo cylinder cooling tin, time sert case, align-bored, decked case spigots, heads machined for higher compression, Ported & Polished heads, and manifolds, sport can shafts w/ new OE key ways & locking pins Bronz phosphate valve guides, teflon seals, PMO 45 carbs, rebuilt Bosch distributor, all new intermediate shaft gears & sprockets, cam sprockets, idler sprockets w/ turbo chain rails, chains, new oil pump, oil thermostat, resurface valve covers, radius cut and honed rockers, polished rocker shafts, resurface cam covers/rocker boxes, magnafluxed and Polished crank, resurfaced flywheel, new oil return tubes ( thick wall ) with Viton seals...All assembled with Reinz seals & gaskets, Wurth hardware, and Glyco bearings. Also, it has been rewired with a Painless harness. Comes with original metal doors with frames and glass...Present Windshield is Shields Supercoat, anit-fog polycarbonate, 1/4 windows and rear window are mounted in OE swing out frames...O.E. Windshield and rear glass comes with the car. Brakes are S calipers, with big brake cylinder, Wheels are ultra light Mahle, 8 & 9 x 15...Many other wheels here to trade off with. Suspension Front: De-cambered ball joints, Rebel Racing RSR control arm bushings, Koni sport shocks, Wevo ARB 27mm sway bars w/ billet adjustable arms, Sander 23mm F torsion bars. Rear: Weltmeister adjustable Spring Plates with Monobal bearings, Sander 31mm R torsion bar, Wevo 31mm sway with billet adjustable arms w/ Jerry Woods custom mounts, Koni sport shocks. All suspension parts were purchased, installed, corner weighted with custom alignment May, 2011...only 25 autocross runs over 5 years. Fuel Cell, Front oil cooler, Deep oil tank, oil cooler, all plumbed with Airquip s/s hoses, new alternator, Full Roll cage, Painless 5 switch panel w/ fuses done in '07 Three races at Sebring in '08, before owner health issues...about 25 autocrosses with me, after suspension changes. Runs very strong. There are a few patches on pan and rockers. If you want to "pretty it up", and or run it as a street car, you may want to address the areas where rust was removed, inner rockers right front pan, and left rear pan where it was patched for racing...But you don't need to, as the full roll cage connects to the front & rear suspension. The car is very solid, and ready to go as is! Includes RSR front spoiler, not installed, original front bumper, BBS Mahle 15" ultra lig
