1937 Chevrolet Master Deluxe

There are Hot Rods and then there are "A Lister Rods"...This one takes the Blue ribbon! A Street Rod Builder Magazine Centerfold feature car, Rod and Custom Top 10 Pick, Bitching Award at the Columbus Nationals, PPG outstanding Paint winner and several NSRA and Show Awards. Built from an outstanding mild custom 1937 Chevy Master Deluxe, It started as a "freshening up", and ended 12 years later! The top was chopped 2 1/2", the headlights were molded into the fenders, A large Audi 5000 Sunroof was installed, a Bitchin Products Dash, Mercedes Benz seats were modified and covered in luxurious leather, Air Conditioning was supplied by Vintage Air, Tunes courtesy of Alpine, and on and on. The Chev. 454 engine was modified with a custom Tuned Port Fuel Injection System, Sanderson Headers, Custom Valve Covers and every inch of it was highly polished. A Specially Modified 700R4 trans was hooked up to a 9" Currie Differential riding on Posies Leaf Springs and Gabriel Shocks., Mustang II style fabricated front suspension with Air Ride Tech air bags, Power Rack & Pinion, Willwood Disk Brakes up front with Ford drums in the rear. I could go on for days...When the project was finished it totaled in excess of $115k not including the original car!
