I was very pleased to see many of our customers make the trip to the Swap again this year! Considering the weather that was forecast, it turned out to be a "suntastic" day! One customer in particular left sunny and warm Atlanta the day before, for the trip northward, to pick up a few items to enhance his collection. He was very pleased to see the sun pop out that day, since he was the only "other guy" wearing shorts!
We brought four early 911/930 cars for display under our tent, and they sure got some attention! I was very proud of my "all volunteer" crew for the job they did in transporting and cleaning 'em up after the early morning's rain. It paid off, as we sold two!
We sold all the stainless exhausts & headers that we removed last year (compliments of PA's new dealer emission certification) as well as the dozen or so tire pumps, neon lights, Stoner detail kits, wheels and other miscellaneous parts. Of course the true sales person of the day was my 6 year old daughter Marissa! She knew that after browsing three tables of parts, seeing her sitting in her little Scooby-doo chair with a box of Hershey chocolates on her lap to sell would be irresistible! She sold out in record time!!! Thanks to all of you who stopped by to say "hi" and those who supported Marissa's Tee-ball team.
